Tips on Investing in USA Oil Wells

There are many oil rich areas in the USA. And there are many owner operators in Oklahoma, Texas, Kansas, etc. that need additional funding to perform more drilling and to rework older wells.

There are oil rich areas in the USA that produced lots of oil 80 years ago. People made a lot of money then. 40 years ago these same wells were pressured and they produced lots of oil. Many people again made lots of money. Now these same wells need to be worked on with newer technologies in order to produce more oil again. Some of the new technologies include horizontal drilling and nitrogen machines. The new technology is costly and there are endless opportunities.

Some leases were turned off when oil prices were low. Some just need to be worked on and turned on. Good operators know where good wells are and can perform new drills a few hundred feet away.

Investing in oil is not for everyone. Do not put your last $50,000 or $100,000 in oil. It is risky and there is no such thing as a guarantee, but if you have the cash to do a little risk taking own your own oil wells!

Here is a good starting tip if you want to pursue investing in USA oil. There are many "middle men" in oil or brokers. They set up companies claiming to own the oil, but typically they are just brokers. Be very careful and do your homework before giving anyone money. These brokers buy and mark up the oil and keep a portion for themselves. When investing in oil, deal directly with the owner/operator of the wells and do your background checks! They MUST have a credible geologist ON STAFF! And again do not deal with a broker! There are thousands of acres in the USA with oil. Find them and invest in them!
