East and West: In the United States, Major League Soccer is divided into two sections. In the Eastern Sectionals, there are seven main groups: Chicago, Columbus, DC United, Kansas City, New England, New York and Toronto FC. In Western Sectionals, there are six main teams: Chivas USA, Colorado, FC Dallas,Houston, Los Angeles and Real Salt Lake. Then there are the playoffs, which are the final standings, the combination of both parts of the country. Yet when the first three parts of each region, we look to the top three ranking in the playoffs.

Alone in the eastern points, DC Unitedtook the initiative for the year with 55 points overall. New England came in second with 50 points and New York from Chicago almost took third with 43 points. In western score, Chivas USA had little first with a total of 53 points, with Houston not far behind with 52 points. FC Dallas finished third out of the fair, with 44 points.
